About the role
About Wealthfront
Wealthfront pioneered automated investing by offering broad access to sophisticated investing strategies at a fraction of the cost of traditional financial advisers. Since then, we’ve continued to expand the ways we help our clients build wealth through saving, investing, and home lending. From the very beginning, we’ve been a product-led growth company. We focus on building low cost, high-value, high quality experiences. These enable us to establish long-term relationships with happy clients who gladly refer their friends, family, peers, and colleagues. Our commitment to our clients and high bar for excellence set us apart from traditional financial institutions, fostering trust with our clients and empowering them to build lasting wealth on their own terms.
Product Management at Wealthfront
We earn and maintain client trust through quality product experiences built with a deep understanding of the client, close collaboration across a wide variety of functions, and high visibility with the executive team. As a result of that trust, clients stay with us for a long time and entrust us with more of their money each year. For our business, delight is the greatest form of virality. When we delight our clients, they tell others about us. We balance improving existing products with developing new products. Lastly, we are a learning-oriented organization. We care far more about achieving a high magnitude of success on a few successful products than we do about every product being successful.
Growth at Wealthfront
The Growth team balances short-term projects with fast iteration and larger initiatives, working across Wealthfront’s entire product suite. The team:
Drives high intent visitors to Wealthfront: improving signup conversion, increasing adoption of financial services, and increasing share of wallet among existing clients.
Understands and shapes the flywheels of client acquisition, activation, and referrals— building collective intelligence across the company about them.
Develops highly effective experimentation strategies that enable us to learn and see impact as efficiently as possible while honoring our trusted relationship with clients: enabling clients to improve their financial outcomes while making changes that grow the business.
Actively tracks and responds to new information, including macroeconomic conditions, demographic shifts, technology shifts and other opportunity signals. Growth by nature is highly responsive to changing priorities. As the PM lead, you’ll be trusted to move quickly to react to new insights and product launches with high leverage opportunities.
Maintain a longer term view alongside nearterm opportunities, such that the team is aware of approaching local maxima and ready to discover the next paradigm when appropriate.

About Wealthfront
Here at Wealthfront, our mission is to create a financial system that favors people, not institutions. We do this by leveraging technology to build powerful, low-cost, and easy-to-use financial products that help modern investors grow and manage their money.
We started with the ambition to transform the investment advisory business. By automating strategies typically reserved for the wealthy, we unlocked access to high quality investment advice for a digitally-native generation that was underserved by traditional institutions. Since then, we've expanded to a full suite of products designed to help our clients turn their savings into long-term wealth, including:
• A Cash Account that, through our partner banks, offers one of the highest annual percentage yields on uninvested cash in the industry, while providing instant and secure access to your money with no account fees and a full suite of checking features.
• A zero-commission Stock Investing Account with 50+ handpicked collections that help DIY investors discover new companies and make smarter investing decisions.
• Multiple automated investing portfolios designed to unlock tax savings through sophisticated strategies like fixed income, tax-loss harvesting, and direct indexing—which we offer at industry-leading low costs and accessible minimums.
Our award-winning products have attracted over 1 million clients who trust us with more than $100 billion of their hard earned savings—and we're far from done. If you’re inspired to help us reshape the financial industry as we create our next chapter, let’s talk!
